TSF recognizes the importance of the work that many small nonprofit organizations contribute to ensure the security and safety of all U.S. citizens and U.S. organizations operating worldwide.

TSF offers these organizations an opportunity to apply for a TSF grant.


TSF GRANT PROGRAM DETAILS:

There are two grant cycles per year.

  • 1st grant cycle: Applications will be accepted for the first grant cycle until May 31st and decisions will be communicated to the applicant by June 30th.
  • 2nd grant cycle: Applications will be accepted until November 30th and decisions will be communicated by December 31st.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Organization’s Mission: The organization has a focus that supports the safety and security of American organizations and personnel 
  • Nonprofit Status: The organization has 501(c)(3) charitable status 
  • Budget Size: Small organizations with an annual budget of under $1,000,000 are given more consideration by TSF's Program Committee
  • One Grant Per Year: The organization can only receive a TSF grant once a year

 

INELIGIBLE SUPPORT:

  1. Projects that seek to influence legislation or election campaigns directly or indirectly; activities related to influencing government policies, permitting or regulations will not be considered.
  2. Endowments
